Blue Lace Agate is known as a communication stone, aiding those who struggle to be heard by others or who need courage and eloquence to express their truths. It promotes clear thinking and unwavering determination towards what truly matters. As a Stone of the Diplomat, it can assist in delicate situations where angry words must be avoided, but understanding is crucial. The name Blue Lace Agate comes from the beautiful white lines that run through the sky blue stone, creating a lace-like pattern. This stone is relatively rare, found in only one mine in Namibia and a few other locations. It was discovered in 1962 by American prospector George Swanson and was mined by hand until 1977. Unfortunately, the mine closed in 2016. The blue hue of Blue Lace Agate varies depending on the depth of the mine in which it is found. Generally, the deeper the mine, the bluer the stone.
