At Earth's Connections by Tamara, we are committed to providing you with high-quality crystals and exceptional customer service. We want you to feel confident in your purchase and understand the unique nature of natural crystals.

Natural Variations in Crystals

Each crystal is a unique creation of nature, and natural variations are not only expected but celebrated as part of their authentic beauty. These variations include differences in color, pattern, size, shape, texture, and natural inclusions or markings.

Examples of natural characteristics:

  • Selenite: This soft, fibrous crystal naturally displays pearly luster with visible striations and layered patterns. You may notice gray or translucent areas between white sections, natural inclusions, or slight surface variations from the carving process. These are authentic characteristics of genuine selenite, not defects.
  • Soft crystals (such as selenite, calcite, and fluorite): Some crystals rank low on the Mohs hardness scale and are naturally delicate. They may show minor surface marks, small chips, or gentle wear from handling and carving. This softness is an inherent property of these minerals.
  • Raw and natural formations: Unpolished crystals may have rough edges, natural pitting, or irregular surfaces that reflect how they formed in the earth.
  • Color variations: Natural crystals can display color gradients, zones of different intensity, or subtle hues that vary from piece to piece.
  • Natural cracks and inclusions: Internal fractures, veils, and mineral inclusions are natural features that formed as the crystal grew and are not considered defects.

These natural characteristics are part of what makes each crystal special and are not considered damage or defects. When we choose to invest in unique creations, we are also making a conscious decision to support the natural beauty and authenticity of these earth-formed treasures.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns under specific conditions within 7 days of delivery. You must contact us first at support@earthsconnectionsbytamara.com before returning any item.

Returns are NOT accepted for:

  • Buyer's remorse or change of mind
  • Items you simply don't like after receiving them
  • Natural variations in color, size, pattern, or texture as described above
  • Natural characteristics such as inclusions, minor surface marks, or variations inherent to natural crystals

Returns ARE accepted for:

  • Items damaged during shipping (must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos)
  • Items that are significantly different from their description
  • Manufacturing defects (not natural characteristics)

Return Conditions:

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Items must be returned in their original condition with all packaging
  • Buyer is responsible for any loss in value if the item is not returned in original condition
  • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item

Contact Us First Before initiating any return, you must contact us at support@earthsconnectionsbytamara.com with photos and a description of the issue. This allows us to assess the situation and potentially offer alternative solutions. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in restriction from future purchases.

Cancellation Policy

Once an order is placed, we begin the process of carefully selecting and preparing your unique crystal for shipment. Due to the personalized nature of this process:

  • Order cancellations are not accepted once the order has been placed
  • If you need to make changes to your order, please contact us immediately at support@earthsconnectionsbytamara.com
  • We will do our best to accommodate requests made within a few hours of purchase, but cannot guarantee cancellation once processing has begun

Shipping Insurance and Lost Packages

We carefully package all orders to ensure safe delivery. If your package is lost or significantly delayed, please contact us at support@earthsconnectionsbytamara.com within 30 days of your order date and we will work with you to resolve the issue. We recommend purchasing shipping insurance for high-value orders.
