Hi, I'm Tamara — the heart behind Earth's Connections by Tamara.
My journey into the world of crystals began with something simple: their beauty. I was drawn to the way crystals look as décor, the way they transform a space, and the way they make a home feel more grounded, peaceful, and alive. What started as an appreciation for their natural elegance grew into a deep passion for sharing that feeling with others.
I bring a unique background to everything I do. With a diploma in Computer Programming, a certificate in Secretarial Studies, and a certificate in Health Care Aid, I've spent my life learning, adapting, and serving others. Earth's Connections by Tamara is the place where all of those experiences come together — in a store built with care, knowledge, and heart.
I launched Earth's Connections by Tamara about eight months ago, and it has been one of the most rewarding adventures of my life. My mother, who passed recently, taught me what it truly means to have courage and face challenges head-on. Starting this business is, in many ways, a tribute to her strength — and a reminder that it's never too late to follow what lights you up.
I'm a proud cat lover — all my life, cats have been a constant source of joy and comfort. I've also had the privilege of being a foster cat mom, opening my home to cats in need and giving them love while they waited for their forever families. Animals hold a very special place in my heart, and I care deeply about their ethical treatment and the health of our planet. Mother Earth gives us so much, and I believe it's our responsibility to honour and protect her. That's why ethical sourcing is at the core of everything I do.
I'm also a happily married woman who finds joy in the little things — a beautiful stone, a purring cat, a quiet moment in nature. My dad used to take me fishing when I was small, and growing up in a rural area gave me a deep, early connection to the natural world. I remember the long school bus rides through the countryside — plenty of time to watch the land go by and appreciate the quiet beauty of nature. Those roots never left me. They live on in every crystal I carefully select for this store.
