Chakra 101: A Complete Guide to Your 7 Energy Centers & Crystals
Share
I used to ignore my energy centers until burnout forced me to listen. Like many people, I pushed through exhaustion, ignored the signals my body was sending, and kept going until I couldn't anymore. That's when I discovered the chakra system, and everything shifted. I stopped pushing through and started listening to what my body needed.
If you're new to chakras or curious about how crystals can support your energy work, this guide is for you.
What Are Chakras?
Chakras are energy centers in the body that correspond to different physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our well-being. There are seven main chakras, each with its own location, color, and purpose. When our chakras are balanced, we feel grounded, creative, confident, loving, expressive, intuitive, and connected. When they're blocked or out of balance, we may experience physical discomfort, emotional challenges, or a sense of disconnection.

How to Work with Chakra Crystals
You can place crystals on the corresponding chakra during meditation, carry them with you throughout the day, or simply hold them while setting an intention for balance and healing. Trust your intuition and notice which chakras feel like they need support.
My Personal Journey with Chakras
When I learned to work with my chakras, everything shifted. I stopped pushing through exhaustion and started listening to what my body needed. I began to notice when I felt ungrounded, when my creativity was blocked, or when I wasn't speaking my truth. The chakra system gave me a language for understanding my energy, and crystals became my tools for restoring balance.
If you're feeling out of alignment, overwhelmed, or disconnected, I encourage you to explore your chakras. Start with one. Notice what comes up. And remember—healing isn't about perfection. It's about listening.
CRYSTAL CARE
Cleansing: Cleanse your chakra crystals regularly under running water, with smoke (sage or palo santo), or by placing them on selenite.
Charging: Charge them under moonlight, sunlight (avoid prolonged sun for sensitive stones like Amethyst), or with intention.
